Clinics

Baby clinic - These are run during normal appointments throughout the week. Vaccinations, Developmental checks and advice can be obtained.

Parents will be routinely sent appointments for infant and childhood vaccinations.

Diabetic clinic - We do not offer a designated diabetic clinic, but all patients will receive an appointment to have their annual review by our Nurse Practitioner or one of the Doctors.

Asthma clinic - We do not offer a designated asthma clinic, but all asthmatic patients will receive an appointment to have their asthma reviewed at least once a year, by our Nurse Practitioner or one of the Doctors.

Ante-natal / post-natal clinics - These are held by the doctors during normal appointments. Further details can be obtained at reception.

Family planning - For Family Planning and Sexual Health Clinic please contact Riverside Clinic, Gravesham Community Hospital, Bath Street, Gravesend DA11 0DG.

Vaccinations - Routine childhood vaccinations are offered in our baby clinics.

Flu vaccination clinics are held in September -  November. Please contact reception at the end of September to find out when these will be held.

Dietician - We have a visiting dietitian, Further details can be obtained from reception.

Steroid Injections - We have a visiting Advanced Practice Orthopaedic Practitioner who offers steroid injections for joint/soft tissue MSK Injections.

When being booking in the patient must be aware it is for a consideration of an injection as he it may not be appropriate on the day. The main contraindications are if the patient is unwell, recent vaccination (< 2 weeks), uncontrolled diabetes/cardiac issue.

It is useful but not mandatory to have an X-ray of the joint if requesting a joint injection.

More complex injections such as small joints, De Quervains, hip joint should be referred to Ortho Triage.

Phlebotomy Services (Blood tests) - You will be able to book in with us for your blood test, alternatively, you may have your blood taken at Gravesham Community Hospital  Mon – Fri 9am to 2pm inclusive
